Executive Secretary / Emergency Manager 

Cheryl has worked for the Potter County Sheriff's Office since 2000. She started out as Dispatch Operator and worked her way up to training other dispatchers. When the in courthouse  jail closed in 2004, Cheryl was hired as Executive Secretary. In  2009 Cheryl was handed Emergency Manager to her list of tasks and job titles. When she isn't busy answering phones she is busy working with local emergency responders and Sate Emergency Management.  Cheryl can be found watering and caring for the flowers around the courthouse. 

Deputy Blue Coat started in Potter County November 2023. She started out her Law Enforcement career with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Along with Law Enforcement duties, Deputy Blue Coat assist Dispatcher/ Secretary Sautner,  with Office tasks and duties.
